Football spectator philosophy

I was using a bathroom at a football match (soccer for the US) that consisted of 1 urinal trough roughly 1 metre across, and a single toilet.

The queue for this bathroom stretched beyond the exit and into the stadium beyond. Whilst occupying the toilet (I dislike troughing it with someone in such an intimate fashion when I don't know them), I overheard (as you do) an exchange on the other side of the toilet door.

The part of this exchange that intrigued me the most was said mostly in passing by one person to another, but with an emphasis in his speech that made him sound like he was taking a stance on the current situation in Lebanon.

He said:

"It's quite small in here, isn't it".
