Minor surgery

Doesn't it strike you as a bit odd that according to the last line of the article, the fish had its eye removed in "minor" surgery?! It's almost slipped in there at the last minute as if he was getting his eyelashes tinted at the same time (if fish had eyelashes).

Nope?
