People who just won't let go

And good on 'em.

The men you see walking down the street with long hair down to their shoulders and a denim jacket hark back to their glory days of biking in their youth.

What differs slightly from said glory days however, is their bald patch, and the fact that the denim jacket didn't travel as a trend with the rest of the world.

How it actually appears to most people is that these people are 100% stuck in the past, and unable to accept any new styles and tastes.

But why not cling onto that part of their life? Chances are that it was nowhere near as good as they're remembering it, but because they have such fond glittery memories of it, it's more than likely that very little that'll happen in the future will compare to what they think they remember.

Remember that festival that you went to that you loved every minute of? Chances are that it wasn't really that great, but you think it was, therefore it was and other (possibly better) festivals will never compare. Until you're recalling them that is.
