Indian Call Centres

They're not all bad.

I'm going to be the devil's advocate of doom and say that I actually belong to a bank that not only has Indian call centres, but is also an Indian bank.

I had problems logging into my account, because the login page said that my account ID had expired, so I rang (freephone) the number on their website.

I was put on hold as soon as my call was connected.

For eight seconds.

The person who answered the phone had an excellent grasp of English, sorted my problem within minutes, and couldn't do enough for me.

They're not all bad, or they're getting better. Whichever is the reason, I'm all for it.

Email circulars

These things give me utter utter rage.

if you don`t repost this in four minutes you will lose the one you love.

if you do repost this in four minutes the one you love will :

call you or kiss you

Are you going to repost this so i can answer for you?
[] Yes [] No

Reply to me then Repost as "Attractive Test" then send it to my inbox with the answers!! LOL

Total: 26

Add up all the numbers and repost this as: "MY marriage age is..."

BURN THEM.

I don't think that there's much more in the way of annoyance (spam and popups aside) than somebody sending you an email and telling you to send it to everybody you know in the next sixty second before your mum dies.

The only (probably) acceptable time that I've seen this circular being bandied around is about a girl called Madeleine who's currently missing in Portugal aged four.

What's slowing the internet down? Crap circulars and spam telling me to invest in a stock option that's being artificially inflated. Oh and bank / paypal phishing emails that I consistently report, even though I feel like I'm the only person doing so.

One of these days, I'll write another funny blog. Promise.
