The best hurricane names in the world.. Ever

Here's one that's never ceased to amaze me. Why is it that hurricanes are always awarded the most down-to-earth and sometimes mundane names? Is it to try to inspire calm?

I have often pictured turning on the news one day to be greeted by the catastrophic scenes in the Phillipines that are the product of a category 5 hurricane that goes by the name: ALLAN.

Perhaps Hurricane Geoff, or Hurricane Susan.

I've got it.
