Dangerous boat names
I was going to put a blog up on the frustrations of web traffic, but eventually decided against it.
The Mary Rose. The SS Great Britain.
Boring boat names.
People during the early days of migration to other continents may well have chosen optimistic names to keep their boats and hopes afloat, but as we step into the new age of sailing, I think it's time we dropped the tradition of naming our boats girly names and started calling them something cool.
What about:
DEATH BY SAILING
That's a cool name for a boat.
What about following through with my strong names for pets idea?
Call your boat the SS Steve, or the SS Keith.
Either way, drop the girly names. Oh and don't call it Titanic mark II. That might be tempting fate.
